Power is the way to come out on top.

Race your way to the top with the advantage of the viciously powerful Northwave Men's Typhoon Evo Shoe. Like its namesake storm, the Typhoon blends power and airflow to keep your foot comfortable so that you can focus on the mental power needed to grind, crank, and push all the way to the front.

  • Microfiber mesh and synthetic upper offer a functional blend of breathability and support that allows you to focus on the ride, not your foot
  • Dual hook-and-loop closure straps and a ratchet closure at the top ensures a premium fit that limits movement and allows rapid energy transfer to the sole
  • Airflow System helps cool your foot by allowing moisture vapor to escape and air to flow through
  • Performance Pro footbed offers a little cushion while delivering an unmatched feel that keeps you in touch with your steed
  • Thin carbon sole offers the stiffest feel possible without losing precious power while you crank

Here's what others have to say...

first pair of biking shoes

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:Runs small

I really like them, purchased in Sep 2014 and put about 2000 miles on them. I've learned everything about cycling with them: upgraded to a carbon bike, bought tons of gears, etc. I have very wide shoes (2E) and I wear size 12/45.5 regular shoes, I bought size 47 for this. The only thing is that they don't hold up very well but that's no problem. My next pair of shoes would have to be much, much lighter. Highly recommended!

Great shoe for the price!

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size

I recently bought a Peloton Cycle so I could work out on my time balancing work and kids schedule. The bike requires a three hole road cleat and my conventional spin shoes did not comply. I found these and so far so good. Great ventilation and good comfort even for a guy who normally wears wide shoes. The only thing I don't like is that the tongue is not very wide and often times flaps over underneath the lashings. Very small complaint mind you. I would recommend.

Awesome shoe, great price!

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I have tried Shimano, Specialized, Gaerne, Diadora, and more. These shoes are by far the best fitting, most comfortable cycling shoes I have owned. The ventilation is fantastic. They look good and feel good after riding my daily 30 mile rides and after several 100k and 100 milers. I would not hesitate to buy these again. Be warned though make sure you know what size you wear in cycling shoes. I wear an 11.5 in regular dress shoes, but a 13 in cycling shoes(as are my previous Specialized shoes and these Northwave shoes). I have had absolutely no issues with these shoes after 1000 miles.

Northwave Evo Typhoon

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

These are great shoes for my Triple E feet! They accomodate my flat feet, orthotics, bunions and hammer toes. They have a carbon sole that is plenty stiff. And they are simple 3-strap shoes without buckles, wires and other retention devices that can break or go haywire. The price and good looks of the shoe are icing on the cake.
