Lumina 800 OLED/Sentinel 40 Combo Light Kit

If you've done any riding at night, you know how important it is to have a light that will help you be seen and enable you to see the road in front of you. NiteRider understands the need for illumination, too, and the California-based manufacturer also understands how frustrating it can be when you realize you can't go on the ride you had planned because your light needs to charge — or worse — when your light runs out of juice while you're trying to outride the sunset. The headlight in the Lumina 800 OLED/Sentinel 40 Combo Light Kit addresses this common problem by using a built-in display to let you know exactly how much battery life you have left, allowing you to plan your rides without having to guess how much of your light's battery you've used up.

In addition to aiding planning, the Lumina OLED is also effective at ensuring the trip goes well. It projects a maximum of 800 lumens onto the road as you ride and offers you the option of four operating modes. The Li-Ion battery is USB-rechargeable, and is built with NiteRider's Intellicharge technology, which allows it to charge in half of its normal time if charging in a power source with over 500mA.

The Sentinel 40, in addition to acting as a traditional tail light with five flash modes to choose from, offers two other notable features. The first is the Laser Lanes mode, which projects lane lines onto the surface of the road using attention-grabbing lasers to change up the way you help motorists see you in dark conditions. The second is its ability to give you 180-degrees of visibility using built-in amber side lights paired with the main two-watt LED bulbs. The included mount attaches it cleanly to your seatpost, and, like the included headlight, the Sentinel 40 is USB-rechargeable.
