G2 SL Chain Guide

When it comes to chain retention, guides can add unwanted weight to your all-mountain or enduro race machine. Thankfully, though, the MRP G2 SL Chain Guide is aimed squarely at the rider who needs to keep weight down, but can't afford a dropped chain.

MRP uses a 5mm thick piece of CNC'd aluminum for the G2 SL's boomerang. It's expertly machined with reliefs to drop any extra heft from the design. For bash protection, MRP chose to use a polycarbonate skid plate that's replaceable for long-term use. Three-points of attachment ensure that the skid plate and boomerang form a strong structure for trail abuse.

A redesigned derailleur-cage-style upper guide fully encloses the chain, and a lower pulley wheel with sealed bearings prevent any chance of the chain coming off of the chainring. The guide is also simple to setup, due to its front access and single-bolt positioning of the upper guide.

The MRP G2 SL Chain Guide is compatible with 36-40 tooth rings and comes in the color Black.
