Great Bash Guard and Chain Guide

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The day I put this on my bike I went through a rocky wash (rocks the size of softballs) @ 25 mph and a rock flew up after it met my front tire. The rock hit directly on the bash guard and took a small chuck out of the polycarbonate (I mean really really small). I'm SO glad I had this on as it saved my chain, chain ring and possibly my frame. This guard is tough!

Haven't "cased" a jump or rock yet though. We'll see how the sheet metal holds up.

I ride pretty hard and I haven't had a chain drop since I put this on.

Minus one star due to the sharp edges found on the stamped sheet metal. Easily de-burred in a tumbler for 10-15 minutes. Manufacturing oversight or cheap production I guess.

Overall great product.
