The beauty of this system is the flexibility to run the 15mm axle, as the hub is currently configured, or purchase the 20mm axle for use in your existing (or future) 20mm thru-axle forks. This oversized hub shell option will be best suited to riders who looking for flexibility in thru-axle configurations.

For riders coming from the 9mm quick release, or those who don't feel the need for a 20mm thru-axle, Chris King is also offering a 15mm thru-axle design for their standard ISO hubshell.
