We carry the WTB Prowler MX tire in both tubed and tubeless versions. The Race is the tubed version, and, as such, a bit lighter than its UST counterpart. But then you have to run a tube, so it all comes in the wash. The Prowler MX Race is a great tire for most dry condition riding. Not super light for XC racing, but after that, it has few drawbacks. Short, square-ish spaced knobs that dig in and pull out without packing the tire. Just enough bite for the straightaways, but bite to spare for turns.

The WTB Prowler MX Race Tire uses an Aramid bead, DNA or Super Track rubber, and a lightweight 60TPI casing. The tread and casing are colored Black. The tire comes in three sizes, 2.1, 2.3 and 2.5. The 2.1 has a Global Measurement System (GMS) size of 49/52. The first number is the widest point of the casing, in millimeters, the second number is the widest part of the tread. The 2.1 has DNA rubber, 60a durometer rubber for fast-rolling conditions. The 2.3 has a GMS size of 55/60. The 2.5 has a GMS size of 58/65. Both the 2.3 and 2.5 have Super Track DNA rubber, a 53a durometer compound best for loose conditions. 2.1 (620g), 2.3 (869g), and the 2.5 (960g).
