We like seeing "Hope" anodized in white on the black quick release lever when we install the front wheel after taking the bike off the rack. It gets us in a positive frame of mind. The levers are light, at 114g for a 100mm front, 135mm back over locknut length set. The lever is new, yet old fashioned, reminding us of early quick release designs. The levers are aluminum while the shafts are made of stainless steel, which isn't quite as light as ti, but flexes less and works better when used with suspension forks.
