There's an ongoing debate in fit circles. Should saddles be flat as a board or curvy? There is no question where the WTB Rocket V saddle stands. This saddle harkens back to the glory days of the Concor saddle, but with greater width and more padding. One theory is that the curves help keep one's body in the same position, cradling one in the right spot. WTB people would also probably add that the width in the back helps with the whale tail for those who like to sit back in the saddle when powering along. Dimensions for the Rocket V are 150mm x 277mm. The SLT is the lightest of the Rocket V line. Titanium rails and a leather cover help keep the weight down.
