The Turner Flux is one of the greatest all-around mountain bikes in our opinion. It can be built to race and deliver you to the podium. Or you can build it for epic days away from home, and it'll deliver you back to the ice chest at the car. That's why we never want to let go of the one we've got.

For 2008, the Flux sheds a quarter pound from the 2007 iteration, thanks largely to a newly designed rear swingarm shared with the Nitrous. The swingarm itself will actually save closer to .3 pounds, but new reinforced rockers add back a few grams, netting about a 110g weigh loss. On top of that, it's up for most any challenge you'd ask of your Flux, as it's considerably stronger than the previous iteration.

The swingarm is fully retro-fittable to any model year Flux or Nitrous.
