Selle Italia seems to be pursuing a unique marketing strategy -- give new saddles distinctive (some would write "weird") names. Yutaak is pronounced "you-talk." Your bum shouldn't be talking after riding this body-holder. The shape looks funky from the side, but feels pretty traditional from the chamois side. The Selle Italia Yutaak saddle is designed with an eye for comfort and an eye for durability. A dual-focus that is 20/20. The comfort, like ogres, comes in layers. The top is a Kevlar/Cordura fabric that won't get slippery. Underneath the cover is self-modeling padding. Underneath the shell are rubber elastomers on top of the saddle rails for a shell that will every-so-slightly adjust as you adjust and take the edge of the bumps that the suspension and tires can't damp. In terms of durability, the Kevlar/Cordura cover is resistant to rips, tears and scrapes, and the Vibram rubber under the nose, on the wings and tail will take lots of abuse.

The rails of the Selle Italia Yutaak saddle are titanium made from 3/16 tubing. The length of the saddle is 285mm and the width 140mm. The shell is nylon. Selle Italia sees this as an off-road/free ride saddle. 260g.
