$55.99

The Ergon GX2 comes in two flavors. It depends on what kind of element you prefer. Are you more into Magnesium or Carbon? Both are light, strong, and sexy, but the magnesium is kinder to the pocketbook. And the Mag is where we begin the GX2 tour.

The Ergon GX2 Mag begins with the race-ready GX1 grip. Light, lean, and strong, it is muscular without being bulky. The magnesium bar end is a three-finger design integrated with the grip and clamp. In this case, the thumb isn't a finger but an opposable digit. Semantics, perhaps, but you use the thumb to finish the clamping that the index, middle, and ring finger start. Both the grip and the end are independently adjustable and are clamped into place with a single Allen key embedded in the end. Marks on the end make it easy to get the two grips to line up identically.

The clamp tightens via a 4mm Allen key that is underneath the bar end and is designed to take not more than 7nm of torque. The grip is 132mm long, with a 91mm bar end, giving a total usable length of 118mm. The left and right grips are mirror images of each other. The grips come with end plugs and mounting instructions. 223g. Available in Black/Grey.
