The Ergon GX1 grip is a race-oriented version of the GP1 grip. The grip is lean and cut, like a rider with low body fat, a smaller version that doesn't get in the way when the stakes are high. With the smaller shape, more hand positions can be utilized. There's less support than the GP1, but still loads more support than a standard round grip.
Another difference for the Ergon GX1 grip is that it is all Kraton rubber, both the broad wing and the patterned, textured rubber inset. The integrated aluminum clamp is smaller and shaped to flow into the grip. Aesthetically, the clamp is a nice upgrade as it's anodized black to match the textured, patterned grip surface.
The clamp tightens via a 4mm Allen key that is underneath the bar end and is designed to take not more than 7nm of torque. The grip is 130mm long. The left and right grips are mirror images of each other. The grips come with end plugs and mounting instructions. 137g. Available in Black/Grey.
