Like the GP1 Carbon Superlight, the Ergon GR2 Carbon Superlight grips are an evolution of the GR2. The rubber has been replaced with soft Kraton rubber which is both super sticky and dampens vibrations. the magnesium bar end has been replaced with a carbon bar end -- a bar end that weighs a mere 36g. This helps drop the weight into the territory of normal grips -- those that neither have shape, nor a clamp, nor a bar end. If you’re measuring value on a per-gram basis, this grip gives lots of bang for minimal gram.

The Ergon GR2 Carbon Superlight grips are 54mm at their widest (measured front to back). The GR2 Small and Large are 132mm long. The GR2 SRAM is 96.5mm long in both the Small and Large. The bar end is 91mm long which gives a total usable barend length of 118mm. The clamp tightens via a 4mm Allen key that is underneath the bar end and is designed to take not more than 7nm of torque. The left and right grips are mirror images of each other. The grips come with end plugs and mounting instructions. Colors Available are Green/Black and Grey/Black.Weight for the GR2 Small is 208g.
