The Ergon GE1 Enduro grip is the smallest, roundest grips of Ergon's line. This makes them good for people who like moving their hand around and for those who prefer riding the extreme disciplines (AM/DH/Enduro/Freeride). The grip is as close to a cylinder as Ergon gets, with a Kraton pad and shaped, textured friction zones for stickier hand grabs. There are also sleek flanges on the inside to limit and protect the hand from sliding into the shifters and brake levers. The aluminum alloy clamp is shaped as well. It is mostly round, though it squares up a bit by where the bolt goes through. This shaping is to help prevent the hand from sliding off to the outside.
The clamp tightens via a 4mm Allen key that is underneath the bar end and is designed to take not more than 7nm of torque. The left and right grips are mirror images of each other. The grips come with end plugs and mounting instructions. The grips are not designed to work with any twist-style shifting mechanisms. The Ergon GE1 Enduro grips come in two sizes, Small and Large. Small is 134mm long and weighs 146g. Large is 140mm long and weighs 178g. Available in Black/Grey.
