The DT Swiss X430 rim is a popular cross-country rim. When DT wanted to make a 29er rim, they took the same extrusion and rolled it out to the larger size to create the X470.

This is the same rim as on the DT Swiss 340 29er wheelset. Purchasing it as a rim, allows you to choose your spokes, nipples, spoking pattern and hubs. Smooth riders can go lighter, while heavy riders can go for more robust builds.

The DT Swiss X470 aluminum 29er rim is ideal for both cross-country and cross-mountain riding. The ETRTO size is 622x18. Rim width is 23.9mm and height is 17.7mm. It is joined via the DT Swiss patented sleeve joint. The spoke holes have single eyelets. The rim is drilled with 32 holes. The rim is not compatible with DT Swiss tubeless kit. It works with tires 1.5-2.35” in width. The color is black. 470g.
