Chris King is one of a handful of brands in the bike industry -- Colnago, SRM, and Intense are other members of the club -- that at the utterance of their name causes everyone in the room to swoon. They provide the market with a sort of consistent precision no one else can replicate. It's not that manufacturing headsets, hubs, and the bearings that go in them is easy work. If anything, it's the exact opposite -- when you're bored sometime take out your allen wrenches and a few tiny screwdrivers and dissect a rear road hub. Fewer more complicated components exist on a bike.

The fact that King is synonymous with perfection in context of complicated components makes it doubly cool that they also manufacture something terribly simple: Aluminum headset spacers. We stock them in 1-1/8" only, and they aren't plastered with King logos or anything of the sort. Rather, they come in the same anodized colors as their headsets: Black, Silver, Red, Navy, and Pewter. They're available in 4 sizes: 3mm, 6mm, 12mm, and 25mm. If you already own a King Nothreadset, this is an ideal accompaniment. And if you have an integrated headset on your bike, it's your chance to get at least something made by King on your bike.
