Each of the bearing cups has an undercut to ensure a flush fit which allows the headset to compensate for the slight imperfections in the facing of the headtube. Full complement (Max type) custom manufactured sealed cartridge bearings keep the action smooth. And, the 20 mm insertion depth provides more strength to the headtube/cup interface. Finally, a proprietary Interlok Aluminum Spacer helps to provide a tight fit at the headset/stem interface -- 18mm of spacers included.
