The Aliante has the perfect combination of lightness and comfort. It uses Fizik's patented Twin Flex shell. The exterior shell is a 35g multidirectional carbon fiber shell that surrounds a 15g bi-directional carbon and Kevlar weave interior "hammock" that simultaneously provides comfort and support. There are two central changes to this 2nd-generation version of the Aliante carbon: It now comes with braided carbon fiber rails that not only save weight in comparison to Ti rails, but the braiding provides a new level of strength against the clamping force of your seatpost. Secondly, the "ICS" designation of this saddle means it's compatible with Fizik's ICS taillights and saddle bads. They literally snap into the rear of the saddle -- say farewell to velcro straps and awkward clamps!
