Who didn't want to be a "Cutter" after Dave Stoller made it seem so romantic in Breaking Away? Shaving legs, singing opera, and riding fast as rebellion is something we did or continue to do with little or no fanfare. So what if his father let him in on a big secret at the end. It was the hardscrabble origins, the poetry of the love of cycling, and the come-from-behind victory against the guys who had all the odds stacked in their favor. Dave had parts of his friends inside of him, the dreams of Cyril, the regret of Mike, and the anger of Moocher, but he wasn't one of them. He yearned to be free, and unlike his pals, the bike was taking him there.
The Swobo Mutiny jersey could take you there, or at least maximize your comfort on the ride. It's made of 100% Waytootech lightweight fabric, a grid-like polyester knit that is light, breathes, and wicks well. It has raglan sleeves and panels that are set off by contrast stitching. The front has a 3/4 zipper, high collar, and an image of Stoller and an appreciation of Breaking Away. The back has three pockets and a deliberately off-center Swobo logo. Another Swobo is also on the right sleeve and Mr. Buck Fifty is on the pockets. Machine washable. The color is Bark.
