The hand symbol is known as shaka. It started in Hawaii, possibly by Kalili Hamana, who was missing three fingers. He was giving his hand sign for "all-clear" when he was guarding the sugar mill. Surfers seem to think it means "hang loose." We don't make the sign anymore, but if it puts those who can see the jersey at ease, we're all for it. Shaka, Bra.
The Swobo Heresy jersey is made of 100% Waytootech lightweight fabric, a grid-like polyester knit that is light, breathes, and wicks well. It has raglan sleeves and panels that are set off by contrast stitching. The front has a 3/4 zipper, high collar, and an image of a left-handed shaka. The back has three pockets and a deliberately off-center Swobo logo. Another Swobo is also on the left sleeve and Mr. Buck Fifty graces the pockets. Machine washable. The color is Brada Blue.
