As tough as we like to think we all are, any cyclist who goes out in miserable conditions is "a real trooper." The Fox Trooper jacket is made for those days. It's a waterproof/windproof/breathable riding jacket for the worst conditions. The jacket breathes both through the material itself, which lets vapor escape, and through the under arm vents. Another form of protection is reflective piping, which can be found on the "capes" covering the front zipper and rear pocket zipper. A third form of protection is the abrasion-resistant material found on forearms and sides, for better bashing.

In addition to all the protection, the Fox Trooper jacket offers lots of comforts -- a soft, microfiber-lined, rollover chin guard atop the neck, so the rubbing, if any, at this point is soft and gentle. There's also an MP3 player pocket on the chest with an internal headphone port. And, two zippered hand pockets that have the cord locks for the elastic drawcord waist. The bottom of the jacket sits below the waist and is longer in back. The Trooper is available in three colors: Boulder, Charcoal, and Steel Grey. All have Black collars, forearm and side panels.
