Burgerizing is something you do to steak, not your legs. The 4x4 protects you from your ankles past your knees. They started with a tough 300 denier nylon shell, added nylon inserts and covered with 12mm EVA foam, an ensemble designed to encase your leg in tough, flexible protection. On the inside, there’s Coolmax to wick away moisture, and the moisture has a chance to evaporate thanks to the open-weave mesh holding everything together. Available in sizes S, M, L and XL.
