IBIS MOJO CARBON COMPLETE BIKE

With its hourglass lines and lush, vibrant powdercoat finishes, the Ibis Mojo Carbon defines sexy. And there's no doubt that it rides as good as it looks, if not better. The carbon fiber chassis is stiff and stable, so the dw-link rear suspension has the ultimate platform from which to do its work. As a result of dw-link's anti-squat characteristics, the Mojo's just-right blend of pedaling efficiency and bump sensitivity make it an awesome bike for just about any trail.

Ibis offers three pre-configured complete bikes to help take the guesswork out of your new Mojo Carbon purchase. Each is spec'ed with a slightly different blend of componentry to suit individual tastes, and deliver maximum bang-for-the-buck.

The XT complete bike is oriented for smart long travel XC/trail riders looking for top notch performance without a weight penalty from overbuilt parts. The heart and soul of the XT build are the XT cranks, front and rear derailleurs, shifters, and cassette. SRAM Elixir CR brakes with 180mm front and 160mm rear rotors provide the stoppage when things get too fast. The wheels consist of Stan's Arch rims mated to Ibis front and XT rear hubs. The Kenda El Moco DTC 2.1" tires will keep you stuck to the trail. Finally, a Fox 32 Float RLC 140mm travel 15QR fork is used on the front end of the bike to work in harmony with the Fox Float RP23 rear shock on the back.

For those seeking a build for more technical terrain, the X-9 complete bike would be a good choice. It's a nice blend of durable parts that yield super high function. Bring on the hard trails! The derailleurs, shifters, and cassette are all SRAM X-9. Truvativ Stylo OCT 3.3 cranks keep things spinning. Avid's Elixir R brakeset features 180mm front and 160mm rear rotors. The X-9 kit uses Stan's Flow rims matched with Ibis hubs and Kenda El Moco DTC 2.35" tires for awesome traction on rocky trails. The Front suspension duties are handled by a RockShox Revelation Team 140mm Dual-Air fork. It uses a 20mm Maxle thru-axle. The rear suspension duties are once again handled by a Fox Float RP23 rear shock.

The SLX complete bike is no doubt the most value-minded of the bunch. But as we've stated before, Shimano SLX packs premium performance at a fraction of the price, and this kit features SLX derailleurs, shifters, crank, and cassette. To keep things at a safe pace, Avid Elixir 5 brakes grab 180mm front and 160mm rear rotors. The wheels use Ibis sealed bearing hubs and 32 hole rims with stainless eyelets, butted spokes and brass nipples. And the Lopes-edition Kenda El Moco DTC 2.1" tires provide the traction on the trail. A Rock Shox Revelation Team Dual-Air 140mm w/Maxle 20mm thru-axle is used to absorb the bumps in front while a Fox Float RP23 rear shock keeps things under control in the back.

At 5.9 pounds, the Mojo's chassis is built to handle everything from your favorite local trail to the Downieville Classic. It's perhaps the one bike you need for your stable. The dw-link rear suspension gives it an incredible ability to glide over chatter and gobble-up square-edge hits. The Ibis Mojo Carbon comes in four sizes – Small, Medium, Large and XL and is available in Clear Gloss (over naked carbon weave), Eddy Orange, Guinness Foam, Nuclear Pesto, and Vicious Blue.
