The Intense Tazer Vp was available in 2 versions in 2004, in both hardtail and full-suspension designs. The most concise statement of the Tazer's success comes in one easy-to-grasp statistic: The Tazer FS and Tazer HT were the most widely raced bikes in the NORBA Dual Slalom and 4-Cross circuit in 2004. In typical fashion, though, Intense refuses to rest on their laurels. In 2005 the Intense Tazer Vp was introduced to replace these frames in 2005 -- merging the most distinctive features of the Tazer FS and Tazer HT, then adding an upgrade to VPP suspension. Whether your plan is to train for the NORBA DS circuit, or if you're a jump-happy trail rider obsessed with catching serious air, the Tazer VP is your dream machine.

The Tazer Vp maintains the low profile, BMX-style compact design of the Tazer HT, which makes it handle like a dream both on the trail and in the air. And like the Tazer FS, the VP is built with a monocoque construction front triangle to provide incredible rigidity, while the beefed-up swingarm and pivot bearing feature 4” of VPP travel to give you awesome traction and unparalleled pedaling efficiency.

The Intense Tazer VP is disc-specific and comes equipped with a a Fox Float RP23 shock. It accepts only a standard axle, and can run tires up to 2.35” wide. Intense recommends that you mate the Tazer Vp with a 100mm fork and either 165mm or 170mm cranks for optimum performance.

The Intense Tazer Vp is available in Intense Red, Stealth Black, Pearl White, Works (raw aluminum) or Midnight Blue. Or for a $125 upcharge and 3-4 week wait, you can customize your Tazer in any of the following colors: Java, Platinum, Works Red, Works Blue, Black Chrome, Hot Rod Orange, Baby Blue or Iron Grey. The Tazer VP uses a 31.6mm seatpost.
