As bicycle components continue to evolve, you need a grease that can meet the needs of high performance components. Motorex Bike Grease 2000 is a fluorescent yellow, calcium-based grease engineered to provide remarkable and durable lubricating properties. You wouldn't put low-end gasoline in a Maserati, so save the Pep Boys tube of grease for your Nissan.

Highly water-repellent and extremely pressure-resistant, Motorex Bike Grease 2000 provides enhanced resistance to oxidation and aging. It also poses no threat to the elastomers and seals frequently found in mountain bike suspension systems while preventing internal corrosion.

When it comes to greasing your bike, here's a good rule of thumb: every time you loosen something with threads, clean it, grease it, and tighten it to torque. Pedals and quick release skewers are good places to start, then stem and handlebar bolts, and finally, your crankset and bottom bracket. Regular greasing and proper torque settings will protect your bike and its components against undue wear while fending-off the dreaded creaks and pops we all hate to hear.

Motorex Bike Grease 2000 is ideal for lubricating bearings, hubs, pivots, and headsets. It comes in a 100g tube or an 850g tub.

Please Note: Per UPS regulations, ORM-D items such as this must ship via surface transport: UPS Ground or UPS Standard (Canada). We are unable to ship ORM-D items Internationally, or to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico.

It's Slippery!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I purchased this when I couldn't source my go-to stuff locally (it's also in a green tube, with the initials PW on it...). It seems to have a little more viscosity than the P-Dub, but so far, it's holding up. We will see how well it does in the muck of a cyclocross season and long winter miles... The color is fun though - a bright, florescent green!
