Wild n' out.

When speed is on the menu, low-profile knobs are essential to prevent energy loss. This often comes as a sacrifice in the traction department. But, with the Michelin Wild Race'r 29in Tire, intelligent knob construction reduces that negative impact.

To start with, this tubeless twenty-niner tire's hollow, diamond-shaped blocks alternate between being bridged together and being solo. This happens along the center tread zone, and it helps to reduce flex under acceleration and braking. Additionally, it enables a conforming level of flex when needed. Meanwhile, the bridging ties into the side transition blocks.

This gives the tire consistent traction during turn-in, and it ramps up as lean angle is increased. The enhanced traction is from more aggressive knobs, with additional siping. Along the Wild Race'r Tire's outer-edge, reinforced triangles dig in to loose soil for confidence inspiring handling.

The Michelin Wild Race'r 29in Tire has a folding UST Aramid bead and is available in either a 2.1 or 2.25-inch width. Please note that this tire is sold individually, and that it does not include either tire sealant or rim tape.

do I have to run them tubeless? we have a lot of goat heads that I am constantly pulling them out of my tires, I run slime in my other tubes, it works well for all the thorns. Help, what do I want?

It will not be a problem to run tubes with this tire. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. brett@competitivecyclist.com

I've been running these tubeless for 2 seasons they work great. Nice beefy sidewall puts up with Colorado rocks. Also I like that they are a little bigger volume softens things up on a HT.
