The Assegai Wide Trail Double Down/3C/TR Tire creates the custom feel you've been searching everywhere for. With this specific Assegai tire, Maxxi combines four advanced technologies: wide trail, DoubleDown, tubeless ready, and 3C MaxxGrip. DoubleDown casing combines with 3C MaxxGrip to create a highly durable, slow rebounding sticky rubber that is specifically made for enduro racing. The Assegai Wide Trail fully optimizes the profile of today's modern rims, working with 30-35mm inner rim widths. This tubeless ready tire allows you to ride with a lower air pressure, which in turn improves traction, lowers resistance, and lessens the chance of a flat tire.

Outstanding front tire
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
It’s a game changer. For the very first time tire itself works without applying brakes all the time. On the very easy turns I just can go. On sharp one brakes are required for sure but I can sense how tire works and just holds the line. Grip is amazing. I do like climbing and weight is not the issue. I did not notice significant problem with going up even though tire is definitely heavier than my previous XC one. However downhill rides are awesome. My current setup is assegai 2.5wt front/dhr II 2.4wt rear. Rims are 29 i27 and no issues whatsoever

Wrong weight Backcountry/CC...
The title of the tire here says "Wide Tire 3C Maxxterra EXO." If this is that tire, its claimed weight is 1,082. If it is a Double Down tire, it's not titled that way. The 3C-TR-DD tire weighs 1,395 claimed. So, the titles are wrong and the claimed weights are incorrect. But which tire are you selling in the ad? Is that the DD tire or the EXO tire, which is not DD?
