1x11 for Mavic hoops.

The Mavic XD Driver allows you to use Mavic's Crossroc, Crossride, Crossmax, and Deemax wheels (2012 and newer) with SRAM's 1x11 drivetrain by replacing either the TS-2 or ITS-4 freehub bodies with the new XD standard, as required by SRAM's 10-42t 11-speed cassette.

The Mavic XD Driver includes new end caps, as well as the driver itself. Simply remove the end caps from the TS-2 or ITS-4 freehub and swap the pawls and springs to the XD Driver. Your Mavic wheels are now ready to ride with SRAM's 1x11 drivetrain.

  • Compatible with SRAM's 10-42t 11-speed cassette
  • For use with Mavic Crossroc, Crossride, Crossmax, and Deemax wheels (2012 and newer)
  • Two different options: XD TS-2 (Crossroc, Crossride), XD ITS-4 (Crossmax, Deemax)
  • Includes XD end caps and driver

Mavic XD Freebody

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Easy to install and the directions are very clear.

I'm pretty sure if I get this I'll be able to run the newer 1 x 12 sram cassette on my Cannonade Lefty FSi, not sure what Mavic rims I have exactly... but they're carbon. I thought I was going to have to get a new hub until I saw this option. Hopefully this works...

Mavic XD Driver

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I use the ITS4 to run XO1 on my crossmax enduro wheelset. High quality and the swap was super easy. Great product for running 1x11 on your Mavic wheelset.

Switch a roo

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

It's really nice that Mavic offers such a simple swap so you can keep the second most expensive part of your bike while upgrading parts. The instructions not very clear but I was able to get the job done. Here's the only complaint, making this 4 instead of 5 start. When swapping there are four TINY springs you must move from the old freehub body to this one. If you loose even one on the garage floor you are screwed. I doubt local bike shops would have any stocked, you might get lucky in their junk drawer though. So -- execution is simple but go into your "clean room so you don't loose a spring.

Unanswered Question

I bought the ts2 version for my crossride wheels it there are no instructions included or seemingly clear resources online. I am not clear on how to remove the current freehub in order to replace. I'm sure it's simple but I don't want to damage the assembly. Any guidance?

TS2 vs. ITS4 variants.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The TS2 variant only works with the CrossRoc wheels from Mavic, while the ITS4 works with the Crossmax wheel line.

What size axle does this work with?

Best Answer

This will work with the 12x142mm and the standard 135mm QR set up. Different endcaps are used on Mavic wheels between the various axle configurations.

will this work on 29" mavic crossride wheels?

Hey there, this will work on your 29" Mavic Crossride Wheels allowing you to run a SRAM 11 speed mountain cassette.

Easy to Install

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I followed the instructions provided and had it on my Mavic Crossmax SLR in less than 5 minutes. It holds my XX1 cassette securely and without any issues.
