X-12 Adapters-2012

The Mavic X-12 Adapters will convert any of their 2012 year-model and forward 12x135mm ITS4 freehub equipped mountain bike rear wheels, like the Deemax and Crossmax SX, to 12x142mm. The 12x142mm thru-axle system is unique and provides a few benefits over other thru-axle configurations -- it's stronger, eliminates play, and makes for quicker, easier wheel installation.

With 12x142mm thru-axles gaining ground and more manufacturers seeing the possibilities this system offers for improved strength and rear suspension stiffness, it's nice to know that Mavic already has you covered should you wish to make a conversion.

The Mavic X-12 Adapters are sold as a matched pair and will convert one rear wheel to accept a 12x142mm thru-axle. Please note that these will only convert "up" from 135mm to 142mm. They will not work for the 150mm Deemax Ultimate.
