Mavic Notch Half-Zip Short Sleeve Jersey $0.00
Step it up a notch.
Ever wear blue jeans to work on a day that started out brisk, but through mystifying circumstances turned out to be hot and sultry? Those are days that we go home with Daisy Dukes on. We can envision the same scenario with Mavic product designers and a long day in their Switchback Jersey. Sweat soaked and haggard, maybe they relieved themselves of the sleeves on their jerseys and sliced the jersey half way down the chest as well. Delighted with the freedom and subsequent cooling effect of their new creation, they made it official and called it the Notch Short Sleeve Jersey.
The Mavic Notch Jersey shares the subdued styling with the Switchback Jersey, but adds and subtracts a few variables to come up with the right answer for mountain bikers looking for a comfortable, casual, and high performing all-mountain jersey for hot days on the bike. The body of the jersey is made of their Air Wick SL fabric. It's light and highly breathable and effectively wicks sweat from the skin. The Notch jersey won't get heavy and sag out of shape as you labor up extended climbs. The short sleeve design keeps you cool and the half length front zipper allows plenty of flexibility with regards to your temperature regulation. This casual jersey is cut like a t-shirt. It feels great and looks just as good.
Snacks, keys, and other goodies can be securely stored in the zippered rear pocket. The two sided Air Wick SL fabric is sewn with contrasting textures for an understated graphic style. The Mavic Notch Short Sleeve Jersey is available in Autobahn, Bright Red, and Komando Green and in five sizes from Small to XX-Large. Please consult the size chart. We've found that we'd wear a size down in this jersey and still enjoy its loose and comfortable cut.

What community has to say
Nice jersey, but common.., the sizing...
I'm gona preface this by stating that I haven't actually used it and probably won't be able to because the sizing is absolutely insane, no XS (which I'd never usually buy).
I usually go between small and medium when it comes to cycling gear so I ordered a small figuring if anything it would be a bit on the snug side which often happens for me. The first jersey I got (ordered from Chainlove) didn't have any US sizing listed on the tag just "international medium" which I assumed as the same as US medium judging by the fit, I was practically drowning in it. The replacement came with slightly different tagging and it did indeed state US small, international medium which is just nuts, I could probably sleep in a medium.....
Sizing aside it seems like a really nice jersey for casual riding. Breathability seems like it would pretty good and the quality looks very nice not even considering the low price. The large back zippered pocket is also a cool idea which could come in handy for mountain riding without having to worry about the contents flying out.
Bottom line; very nice jersey just be aware of the size.
More like 2 sizes down

- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
I like my jerseys loose but this is ridiculous. Having now ordered XL (my usual bike jersey size) and then L arge on Steepandcheap I'm now going to have to get a Medium which I suppose will still be plenty loose! My chest size is 41.
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Basic and functional. And the price is right too! The sleeves are longer than short, stopping just shy of the elbow, and it has a generous front zipper so you can air out on the steamier days. It has a one-zipper back pocket across the lower back, but the pocket is subdivided in two - 2/3 width, and 1/3, so you can separate items within the pocket.
Athletic (not Euro) cut once again from Mavic. super comfy without too much extra.
