Mavic Notch H20 Cycling Jacket - Men's $0.00
Go ahead and get muddy. Mom is OK with it now.
When you were a kid, playing in the mud was not a bad thing. All trail damage aside (and it may sound kind of wrong to say it), getting caught in a sudden storm when you're out on the trail can be kind of liberating. Especially if you're packing the gear to keep you comfortable on the way home. The Mavic Notch H2O Jacket is small enough to cram in your riding pack, and the expandable Pak Bak gives you the versatility to stretch the Notch over your pack to keep it dry. The Rain Tech fabric blocks drizzle, the Clima Vent System promotes airflow to keep you from over-heating without soaking you through, and adjustable cuffs and fully taped seams help hold Mother Nature at arm's length while you throw mud around.

Great windbreaker but does not vent
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I got this jacket for cycling to block the wind and rain which it does well but it does not vent or breathe well. After rides the inside of the jacket is clammy and I can't put a phone in the front zip pocket because of condensation. Great fit. Keeping it because I can always zip down to help it vent.
So far, so good
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I use this for emergencies. I prefer not to ride in the rain. However, if you get caught in a downpour, this is a good wrapper. It's totally waterproof. In fact you need to be careful when you take it out of the washer, because it may be carrying a cup or more of water that spills on the ground. I like the way the back flap stays in place to keep me dry down South.
