Mavic Espoir Jacket - Men's $89.90
Alleviate iffy-weather stress.
A ride can can go from an enjoyable cruise to a mad dash home at a drop of rain. Eliminate the stress of iffy-weather-riding with the Mavic Espoir Jacket. The Espoir easily fits in your jersey pocket and provides enough weather protection to get you home long before you can get soaked.
The Mavic Espoir Jacket features Mavic's Dura Lite fabric to keep light rain from becoming a problem. Mavic's Wind Ride fabric blocks drafts, yet it's still breathable enough to keep your core dry and cool. Furthering this concept, the Espoir's inner layer is comprised of Mavic's soft Air Mesh. Basically, this is a lightweight, open-structured fabric with a lot of stretch that follows your movements while also managing thermo-regulation within the jacket.
This elasticity, along with the Espoir's pre-curved, anatomic panels, ensures coverage without sacrificing your freedom of movement. So, you'll find that moving around the cockpit remains an unencumbered process, which, as you know, is vital to finding traction when trails are sloppy. There is one zipped chest pocket, and reflective elements enhance your visibility to motorists when traversing roads.
The Mavic Espoir Jacket is available in seven sizes from X-Small to 3X-Large and in the colors Bolt Blue, Bright Red, and Black.

Nice for a cool windy day
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I got this in a small. I'm 5'5 135lb. The jacket fits very well and sits very well. As soon as I got it I tried it out during a 45-55 deg. day. Put 20 miles on the bike and really like the jacket. I like it because it stops wind, I don't feel like a stuffy sweat box while wearing it, so it breathes very well also. Can't wait for anther cool windy day!
