Install the lightweight yet burly Mavic Deemax Ultimate Wheel or Wheelset on your gravity-fueled race-rig. By using very light, high-volume rims and double-butted spokes, Mavic puts these world-cup-competing wheels into XC-weight territory without sacrificing strength—or more importantly, stiffness. Blast out of corners with blazing acceleration, and pinpoint nasty lines when you roll with the Deemax Ultimate.

  • Ultralight, double-butted and bladed spokes for less inertia
  • ITS-4 freewheel has 4 pawls working 2 by 2 for instant engagement
  • ISM: Inter Spoke Milling eliminates excess material without sacrificing rigidity
  • UST tubeless-ready for low rolling resistance and reduced flatting

Greetings, I am looking for a pair of wheels to run faster and stronger, my weight is 215 pounds, 6ft 2in tall and compatible with my Specialized Full Suspension Comp FXC 26, 2010. What do you recommend?. Thanks

Me terrible, them durable

Im a terrible rider.I really let my bike take all the hits. And so, I have broken a wheelset every season for the last 5 seasons.. Not proud of it. its not a good thing at all. And then it kinda hit me.. Ok I always complained because deemax's are SO DAMN EXPENSIVE! they are. But man, spending 400$ on wheels every year isn't exactly budget friendly.. My friend lent me his bike (such a nice guy) he had these mavics on it. Man. Solid. that is all. You can't break them.. I don't think even Josh Bender can break them! haha
