Perform stronger. Recover faster.

It's been said that recovery is the next frontier of sports physiology and science. We tend to agree. And at the forefront of this rising wave is the Marc Pro Muscle Recovery and Conditioning Device. This device uses electrical stimuli to shorten recovery time and to increase the effectiveness of your training. Yes, at first, it's a little intimidating to apply electrodes to your own body, but the results speak for themselves.

Here's how it works: The Marc Pro sends electrical pulses via four electrodes that you place at the muscle groupings of your choosing. These electrodes connect to the Marc Pro main unit in pairs, two and two. At the interface of the machine, you're able to target these electrodes with two independent dials that control the output of the signal. So, if your right quad needs a little more juice than, say, your calf, you're able to send a stronger signal as necessary. But what's the benefit of the Marc Pro and why should you use it?

Well, the use of the Marc Pro is actually hidden in its name — "MARC" is actually an acronym for "Muscle Activated Recovery Cascade." The electrical impulses create non-fatiguing muscle contractions that stimulate the production and activation of Nitric Oxide in the body. Essentially, this chemical dilates the blood vessels, which, in turn, leads to an increase in oxygenated bloodflow and nutrients to the desired area. As a result, post-exercise residual waste and deoxygenated blood is "flushed" from the fatigue areas. And by performing this task without any added fatigue, the recovery process is heavily accelerated.

And needless to say, accelerated recovery leads to a decrease in downtime between your workouts. Accordingly, your training programs are able to be closer together, more targeted, and increasingly purposeful. Secondly, when the MARC process occurs regularly, Marc Pro's research has shown that a process called angiogenisis occurs. Basically, this means that your muscles develop more capillary blood vessels over time, which equates to the receiving of more oxygenated blood come race day. And of equal importance, it creates a more effective natural waste removal come recovery time. Ultimately, according to Marc Pro, your muscles' performance capacity will increase over time. Perform stronger and recover faster — not a bad deal.

The Marc Pro Muscle Recovery and Conditioning Device come equipped with six reusable four-packs of electrodes, an AC charger, a padded carrying case, two connection wires, an instructional booklet, and the main device itself. Please take note that this device is not intended to be used for therapy or treatment of medical diseases or medical conditions. We cannot strongly advise enough that you read the accompanying literature before using the Marc Pro Muscle Recovery and Conditioning Device for the first time.

This thing is so awesome!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

So I was reading about recovery tips and massages. Massages sound so unappealing, having a stranger rub all over you for an hour @ $100 a pop. So I ran across this devise. I figured it pays for itself in 6 uses compared to a massage and after the 1st use I was sold. I completed a solid 2hr LT interval workout, zapped myself ( No Pain at all) for an hour at Level 6, went to bed and climbed Col d'Lzoard the next day like I was on well rested legs. It works, get it.
