Downhill shorts that fit your body and can take the demands of the trail aren't a pipe dream for women anymore. The Maloja Women's TanjaM Shorts are made to do a few things well; fit your body while you rip the single track, protect you when the weather turns, and provide excellent coverage when you happen to take a spill. Regardless of whether you're a seasoned downhill veteran, or just getting into it, these shorts will keep you covered.

Freeride Oxford is a durable, nylon-based fabric that's highly resistant to abrasions and tears.  The back of the fabric is lined with polyurethane, which gives these shorts a waterproof layer that's still breathable. Softshell inserts are placed in the inner thigh and back of the shorts to give you more stretch for a better range of motion.

The shorts close at the front with both a zipper and two buttons. The waist of the shorts goes higher in the back to keep your skin protected when you're hanging off the back of the bike to rail that techy section. Belt loops add another option for keeping the shorts in place. Two rear pockets and a single cargo pocket on the right leg hold your lift pass, keys, and ID.

The Majola Women's TanjaM Shorts come in Granite, Pine, and Blue Steel. Sizes run X-Small to X-Large.
