 Maloja's DanielaM. Cycling Short is made from the ever popular Lycra fabric. Choosing this material was the obvious choice due to its light compression, contour following fit, and high wicking abilities. However, Maloja found a way to make its Lycra even more comfortable—like putting silk sheets on a feather bed. The DanielaM. uses flatlock seams throughout the short to minimize fabric abrasion, and to eliminate pressure marks on the skin. Taking things a step further, with the most important attribution to comfort in the saddle, Maloja incorporated its HD ERG chamois. This chamois is made with a seamless, bi-stretch construction that minimizes friction and stretches in several directions to follow your body's movements, not stand rigidly against them. The padding uses a variable density design that's thinner or thicker in accordance to typical weight distribution. This design creates a layer of comfort without the sweaty bulk of typical padding. To top it off, Maloja gave the chamois an antibacterial treatment to keep you and the pad clean, because you need all the help you can get when you're riding in dirt.
