Here's what others have to say...

These shorts rock!!

Background: I am 5'8" and weigh about 125. I also am not a curvy person, am pretty stick straight.

I bought these shorts in a medium hoping to have a little roomier fit. And they're perfect!! They sit on my hips, not at my waist (which is what I was looking for). I could have fit into a small if I wore them higher.

The rise in the back is definitely a little higher than the rise in the front, so when you're bending over towards your handle bars you don't have obnoxious sag. The cargo pocket has a nice zippered closure, and is roomy enough for essentials. The shorts hit me at/slightly below the knee (and I'm leggy) which is what I was looking for. The fabric is nice and tough too. All in all I think they'll be the perfect biking short.

Nice but not the right shape for me

I bought the purpurella short and love it; however, when I crashed, I ripped the seat (actually the mesh panel right below the waist) and the left pocket. Therefore I ordered this style, which is a thick & burly fabric and feels awesome for rough riding. however it does not fit at all like the purpurella on my curvy bod. These are too snug in the seat/thigh and too large in the waist. bummer. If I had a smaller butt, these would rock. Btw, i ordered a medium, which was the right size generally, and am ~140lbs and 5'5", size 6-8 pants

I agree, tighter in the bum, but big on the waiste

      Unanswered Question

I need a size chart for these Maloja shorts....

I need a size chart for these Maloja shorts. I was also wondering what type of rise they have or if they fit more like Fox or Sombrio shorts for women.
