TS8 SL29" 100 Fork

The Magura TS8 SL29 100 Fork is built exclusively for XC racers who demand ultimate efficiency. It utilizes Magura’s Albert SL damper, which operates at a near-lockout, until you hit something hard. The chassis is race-light, but dual to Magura’s dual arch design, it’s far stiffer than you’d expect. If you’re looking for an advantage when you strap on a number plate, this fork fits the bill.

Arguably the most distinctive component of the TS8’s chassis is the dual arch design. Magura’s reasoning is that the dual arches provide improved torsional rigidity, and reduced weight over traditional designs, because each arch is so svelte. Adding to the rigidity is a 15mm quick release thru axle, which fights deflection under hard braking. It is secured using an included T25 Torx driver, which tucks into the disc side of the axle. The oversized crown attaches to a tapered steerer tube, which further enhances stiffness. And the 32mm stanchions keep weight to a minimum.

Inside the TS8 SL, you’ll find a refined air spring, and Magura’s Albert SL damper. This non-adjustable damper is designed specifically for XC racers, and yields maximum efficiency. It’s self-adjusting, and acts as a near-lockout, only activating when you hit considerable bumps.
