Louis Garneau Thermal Equipe Bib Shorts $0.00
The cost of staying warm when it's cold.
Not everyone loves full-length bibs, and with garment technology contributing to fantastic thermal bibs and warmers, the necessity is nearly gone. If you won't sacrifice your race-fit because it's cold out, the Louis Garneau Thermal Equipe Bib Shorts is for you. Paired with embrocation or a good warmer, the Thermal Equipe Bib Shorts are ready to tackle the cold and get you out riding.
The Louis Garneau Thermal Equipe Bib Shorts are constructed in a ten-panel design with Garneau's Thermo Mondo fabric. The multi-panel design allows the bib to follow the contours of your body, while the material selection contains body heat and wicks away moisture. For extra comfort, the Thermal Equipe bib shorts use a seamless pattern for the legs, and a compressive fit design to help with muscle support and blood flow. The bib shorts also feature Garneau's Airgel chamois. The Airgel is antibacterial, and uses a soft Crabyon fabric that's ideal for sensitive skin. For extra motivation, the Thermal Equipe bib shorts have a MP3 player pocket on the rear panel.
The Louis Garneau Thermal Equipe Bib Shorts are available in six sizes from X-Small to XX-Large, and in the colors Black and Blue/black.
- Airgel Chamois supplies plenty of cushion under sit bones without feeling bulky
- Seamless inside leg eliminates skin irritation
- One back pocket keeps tunes close at hand
- 10-panel fit follows the contours of the body for a next-to-skin fit
- Back reflective logos keep motorists aware of your presence at dusk

Best bibs I have had, got black ones. I'm 6'1" 158lbs and they fit like they were tailor made. Very tight putting them on, but once they are on they are a 2nd skin! The compression grippers work great, the gel pad is the best I have tried. Will definitely buy again.
I love L Garneau products and these are no different. I wear size XL, 6'0. Tall, 220 lbs, hope to be 205 someday sooner than later:)
The padding is great and the layer of insulation will be nice in the fall and spring. I snagged these for 59 bucks 2. Weeks ago, black and white style. It was a steal
Super comfy, great bibs
My first pair of LG clothing and I am impressed. Of course, getting them for $59(!!!) @ Bonktown/Chainlove made it FAR better.
I'm 6' and generally about 177 lbs or so. Unfortunately, right now I'm about 185, since our 7-week-old baby is making exercise tough! Still, the large is the right size. I can't imagine going bigger, and at my regular riding weight/dimensions, I am sure these will be even more comfortable.
The fit is snug around my quads and the bands around the bottom of the legs feel tight at first, but they are comfortable throughout the ride. The chamois is super-soft and supportive. The straps fit comfortably; no pulling or cutting into shoulders.
I basically didn't notice much about these over two different 30-mile rides, except for the chamois. It is supportive and comfy, if a tad thick. You are aware it's there, unlike thinner ones.
Weather was around 55 both days, with 10 mph wind. My legs and groin were warm and comfortable. No chill issues at all.
Are they $170 worth it? Hard for me to say. But at $60 these were a STEAL and I wish I got a second pair in the alternate color.
Great bibs for cool mornings
I have riden all winter season in these bibs and love them. I ride twice a week at 430am when the temps are between 40 and 50 degrees F. They are comfortable and keep me warm with a set of leg/knee warmers!!
anyone know the temp range for these...
anyone know the temp range for these bibs?thanks
These are great in 45-65 Deg. I would highly consider knee or leg warmers with these. They are lined with lightly brushed fleece (not the chamois). I am 5'11" 175 lbs and I wear a size large. These still have a compressive fit.
