Louis Garneau Women's Solano Chamois Tights $109.99
Keep riding; the trainer can wait.
Why stop riding just because chilly weather has arrived? The trainer can wait -- with the right gear, you can extend your season well into the fall and winter months. The Louis Garneau Women's Solano Chamois Tights give you plenty of lower-body warmth and comfort, as well as protection from the elements.
Garneau constructed the Solano Chamois Tights primarily out of their HeatMaxx fabric, which is a Roubaix-type fabric with a smooth outer surface and a brushed, micro-fleece liner. It will keep you warm without restricting your movement or feeling bulky. The panels covering the knees and thighs are made of Light WindDry 2 fabric, which, along with a fleeced liner, has a polyurethane membrane for protection from wind and rain. All told, the tights have ten panels, stitched together with friction-minimizing flatlock seams, so that they conform to your movements.
The 4-way stretching Airzone chamois found in the Solano Tights has dual-density foam to provide the right amount of cushioning, and it's perforated to help it breath and transfer moisture away from the skin. Additionally, the edges of the chamois are tapered to eliminate pinching and chafing, and the top of the Airzone has an antibacterial treatment.
Garneau's HuggFit waistband is designed specifically for women, and it secures the tights at the waist without uncomfortable pressure points. Signature ankle grippers secure the leg openings, and a reflective logo on the shin provides some added visibility. The Women's Solano Chamois Tights come in sizes Small through XX-Large and in Black.
