Description

Roll with the pro team.

Our team riders all rock the RealCyclist.com Pro Cycling Team Bib Shorts—and they're all pretty damn fast. It made us ask, is it the shorts? Designed at Realcyclist H.Q. in the heart of the Wasatch, the Louis Garneau Pro Team Bib Shorts are sewn using Garneau's silky-smooth, Signature Lycra Ultra material to wick moisture away from skin —whether it's 70 degrees or 107. The Team Bib Shorts also use Powerband compression cuffs in lieu of irritating silicone grippers—which is a big win in our book. Finally, the anti-microbial Airzone chamois uses a 4-way stretch material and differentiated padding to keep sensitive areas more comfortable so you can ride longer.

  • Flatlock seams eliminate irritation caused by friction
  • Reflective logos give distracted motorists a heads-up
  • Ergonomic fit for in-the-saddle efficiency

Nice fit, nice kit!

Impressed with the quality and fit of these bibs - nice chamois, good compression fit and good lookin' graphics. The shirt fits like a club shirt, but the material is nice as well. Size wise, they do run small (I'm 5'10" 170 lbs, 33" waist and the L fits me perfectly).

I'm looking to pick up another pair of shorts, and the only size left in these is a large. I'm 5'10", 185 lbs., and 33" waist and wanted to know if the larges would be just a tad too big? Are all Louis Garneau shorts/bibs the same size across the different designs?

Responded on

Just got the large, I'm 5'10" 170 lbs, 33" waist and they fit perfectly.

Responded on

I'm 6' and had medium sized bibs, same brand, very small. Large would be the way to go.

First Pair of Bib Shorts

Fantastic fit, good compression, and the material used is top.

I used these bibs after a full season of using Nishiki shorts. The difference is like night and day. The chamois is very nice, really comfortable the whole indoor training ride. Indoor training is always harder on me chamois-wise then outdoor so this was the true test. Great buy!

LOVE 'EM

GREAT BIBS!!! I reach for these before any of my others. I get compliments on them all the time.

great bib

I thought this bib was great, several guys I work with have this bib also and we all agree that this is a great bib. The pad is not bulky, but quite comfortable. I'm 6'3" 235# and the xl fits very well.

Mediocre bibs

After only a few hundred miles, the inside thigh is piling. Read the reviews about how much everyone likes the chamois, but it too was average at best, feeling more like a lump of soggy cotton balls. Fit is great, just wish the materials were up to snuff.

Nice Kit

Love the bibs and jersey! I am 6'2" 177Lbs. 33 Waist and I bought the Large bibs and jersey. The bibs are a bit snug(but not too snug) which is the way I like them. The chamois is very comfortable, have worn the bibs on several rides over 60 miles without problems. I really like the elastic band on the legs as opposed to silicone grippers. Fabric on the jersey is comfortable and wicks well. The black/gray/orange looks great.

Hi,

I ordered the LG Real Cyclist Bibs in Med. Then I noticed that that is a pretty large size. Will there be more sizes available later in either the blue or the black as I will need an XS according to the chart for a 30 inch waist.

Thanks,

Alex

Responded on

This will be the last production run of this version. The team will have a new jersey coming out early next year.

Super Nice But Huggers

I'm really quite impressed. I just received my bibs in the mail today (came in 48 hours, even with economy ground by the way) and wore them around the house and on the bike for a quick around the block. They feel really nice. The material is very smooth and non abrasive which I like, the cut and seaming seems just right and high quality, and the chamois is comfy.

I'm 6'4" 230 with a 36 inch waist, and a 46" chest and the xl fits very well (I asked the Chat helper and he told me to go with the xl and not he xxl so thanks). No over squeezes or pinches. I really dig the cuff style too, no silicone, just a nice thick elastic.

I've owned specialized and castelli bibs and I can tell that these LG bibs are higher quality then my castellis and fit better than my specialized

Great Deal

Ordered the bib and got the jersey free! What a deal! The chamois in the bib is outstanding! 6"1 175 got a med in both and fit excellent. Much bigger go with the large

Great bibs

I like the sublimated graphics and the bib is super smooth and cool. The team jersey on the other hand... well, i put a review on that too. The chamois is great though, and over all the look isnt half bad.

I am 6'1" - 190 lbs - I wear a 32 " waist for my pants - My chest measures 40" - What sike bib & jersey should I order ?

Responded on

I'd go Large on the bibs and Med on the jersey. I'm 5'11" 175 , 40" chest. I have tried the shorts in both M and L and went M (could have gone L, but liked the more compressive fit of M). Jerseys are roomy. I could even go small in the jersey over the M. At your height I think you'd really feel the bib straps on the M thus I suggest L.

Everyone on here asking about size seems to be enormous, (compared to me anyway). I'm 5'7'' with a wrestlers build, (bigger upper body), anyone know if the medium would be too big. I usually wear small in shorts and medium in most jerseys.

Thanks

I'm 6'3" and about 190-195 lbs. Usually where an XL in other bibs (Assos, Capo). Do these fit about the same or should I go for the large? Thx
