Gran fondos should be grand for the spectacular scenery and your grand enjoyment, not the grand amounts of pain long hours on the bars inflict on your hands. Pull on the Louis Garneau Mondo Glove and experience a fondo the way it was meant to be enjoyed. The Mondo's uniquely perforated gel pads dampen shock while ventilating your palms, and a seamless, laser-cut construction eliminates those itchy seams that turn a mild annoyance into eternal discomfort by the end of the event.

  • Air Zone mesh ventilation panel keeps your hands cool on hotter afternoons
  • Integrated finger puller makes the gloves a breeze to pull off after a long ride
  • Each glove is pre-shaped for the perfect, ergonomic fit

Great Gloves

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

This gloves are great. They have a lot of padding that stays put and does compress out of place. The keep my hand feeling good after the long bumpy roads. My hands never get too sweaty. These gloves help wick the sweat away. I bought the white version to match my bike; they look stunning together especially since the rest of my kit is white, red, and black.

Excellent gloves Excellent gloves

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

These gloves are very comfortable and the padding is located in the perfect locations.

Grab on

  • Familiarity:I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit:Runs large

Got these as a gift for my BF. Great gloves, fit is slightly larger. Got him L, and he needed M in the end. Pads are comfy. No tired or numb hands. Pull tabs for removing are key. Overall he is super satisfied.

Great gloves

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

I bought these gloves because I had a set from another company that would make my hands hurt after 40 miles. These gloves are awesome I rode a Century with them and have done numerous 50 + mile rides and my hands never hurt or feel like the airflow restricted.

Color matches my bike

The palm pads on these gloves are firm which avoids getting that "pressed out" feeling after a few months of riding. The padding is also raised up to allow venting.

These are a great set of road gloves. I like that the Velcro strap is on the bottom so that you do not scratch your face as you are wiping off the sweat.

I don't believe in padding my handle bars...

I don't believe in padding my handle bars when I have padding in my gloves... that is if there is enough padding to do the job like gloves used to provide.

I found some well padded gloves last month, in the ladies section. Looks like us guys are supposed to be tough and just put up with carpal tunnel disorder, and the inability to shift or work our brake levers. Does anyone make a thickly padded glove that lasts? I don't care what the price is.

These are great, as are the L.G. Nimbus. I understand the Assos' gloves are very good (available on Of course, which gloves is "the best" is a very personal choice. IF you go with any L.G. product, I recommend order one size larger than the chart list (also check sizes with the charts on Comp.cyclist, as they sometimes differ); again, fit is a personal choice, too, snug is good, but so is being able to get them on/off!

I have the women's Nimbus gloves...(and carpal tunnel), these help. They are also pretty breezy, which is also important for hot summer rides. I am thinking of trying the Assos bike gloves. There is a forum/review simply called...mountain bike review! They review all sorts of products: apparel, lights, helmets, bikes (of course), etc., etc. Check it out. Have you ever found a good glove that works for you?

NOTE: About carpal tunnel, even for those who don't have it, to help alleviate hand/wrist fatigue, try changing hand position more frequently, and stretching your fingers and flexing your wrist out as often as you can; also, if you can, try a more up-right riding position when possible to help alleviate the additional pressure on your hands/wrist. It's a pain, I know!

    Hope this can help.
