Description

A versatile bike knicker that goes anywhere you care to take it.

Thanks to the low-profile Tri Air chamois in the Louis Garneau Women’s Journey Knicker, you can ‘enjoy’ your mega-intense 90-minute spin class and then cruise around the weight machines at the gym without that awkward bike-short waddle. The Journey’s wide, contoured HuggFit waist provides abdominal support and distributes pressure evenly around the waist, so you can bend and twist in comfort. Powerband compressive hems keep the knickers in place and provide smooth, even support. The brushed back of Garneau’s FitSensor fabric regulates body heat and provide enhanced moisture wicking. So whether you’re working out at the gym, getting in a little cool-weather tri training, or simply hopping on to your bike for a short spin into town, you’re covered and comfortable.

Perfect

These are a perfect fit, true to size and very comfortable.
The waist is higher (which I appreciate in cycling clothes) so I don't have to worry about exposing my crack and the waistband is thick so it is very comfortable as well.
The chamois is fairly thin so if you are sensitive on longer rides, these may not be great for you.
These are awesome for spin classes and riding in cool springtime weather.

You say go for a short spin around town......

You say go for a short spin around town... How about these for a longer bike ride... Say - 3 hrs or so?

These are about the same as the Neo Power shorts in design & construction: I wore the Neo Power shorts on a recent 4 hr. ride & found them to be initially comfortable, but then when it became warmer, they were so hot, and just unbearable (the pain!). Now the shorts are supposed to be a higher performance garment than these. So, take a tip from the items description: the words "gym" & "short spin" are tip-offs to the riding level you can expect from these knickers.
Try Giordana F.R.C. for outstanding performance, if you can.
Hope this still helps!

Very nice fashion Knickers, I love the waist, great support and comfort. Made is USA, size is true size. I should warn that Chami in this model is very very thin so it would not give you much of comfort on long rides, but works fine for spinning class or short ride.

LOVE These for Tri Bike

These are the most comfortable cycling capris I've worn. I'm tall with a long rise, and like to have my lower stomach and bootie covered while I'm bent over on the bike...these provide cover! They're comfortable and low-profile enough in the rear that I wear them right to work (as a trainer), then to a ride.

The cut is functional and flattering, and the fabric is soft and breathable.

The only catch is that the pad feels a little thin for my road bike; but it's perfect for the tri bike.
