Good Jersey

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I have this jersey in Ginger/Red. I love it. It's great for the hot SoCal weather. The contrast colors in the armpit area is a mesh that really lets the air in and keep the body cool. There's four pockets in the back. It's an exceptional jersey for the price! I am kinda surprised how cheap it is on sale right now. I think the fit is pretty standard for cycling jerseys. Look at the size chart. It is pretty accurate for me. Maybe my body type fits really well with LG. I'm not a skinny guy, but I'm not fat either. I wear a medium in T-Shirts, and I wear a 38S or 40S suit. The medium fits me perfectly.

Not that good!

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size

I love to use Louis Garneau jrseis, but This is not the best!

Not for a clydesdale

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit:Runs small

I hate this shirt. Like all other race-type jersey for road cycling, even the 3XL is designed for something with pencil thin arms and no chest. I am 5' 7", 220 with a 46 inch chest and 15 inch arms and this shirt makes me look like someone squeezed me into a child's shirt.

Cycling clothes is normally "form" fitting. This particular jesery fit between form and club fit. I like it. 5'8", 165 Lbs, 31" waist. Medium fits fine and not tight at all.

It is form fitting and definitely not for a Clydesdale or those with bodybuilder physique, but otherwise a good value for the average body habitus regarding comfort, fit, zipper, etc

Good Value

I have a ton of jerseys, but this past fall, I picked this one the most...

Good Value

That's cute. =D

Can you get the White and Blue jersey?

Can you get the White and Blue jersey?

Hey kimath, My guess is you are talking about the Twilight Blue option that has the white on the sleeves and by the pits. Currently we have that color in all sizes so please give one of our Gearheads a call at 800.409.4502, they will be happy to set you up with that.

Nice warm weather jersey

I live in the tropics and this is the best jersey for keeping me cool I've tried. Very nicely designed and made. Even small details like the zipper pull are just right. I also appreciate that it comes in bright yellow. Visibility, particularly when it is raining, is important to me and this does the trick.

great jersey

is almost as good as jerseys that cost 2 times more. great for hot weather. sleeves are a little tight if you have big guns.

      Prefer Garneau brand, but...

I think all Gearneau products are well made, and sensibly priced. This jersey is not an exception, but in the end, I returned my order. The cut is fine, but the elastic banding at the sleeves was just too tight for comfort.

        Very nice, great value

I ordered the very last white XS and am glad I got it in time. This is a ridiculously good jersey for under $30.

The fit is not quite as "pro" as some higher-end jerseys - for me, the fabric buckles a little bit at the chest - but even if it's slightly less than fully aerodynamic, it's still a supremely comfortable and high-performing jersey for an amateur like me.

The sleeves are great - no gripper, just a wide (~2-inch) elastic cuff, which is much more comfortable. I'm a skinny guy and this is the only jersey I've found in this price range that fits me properly in the sleeve.

The understated design is also right up my alley - no huge logos or wacky patterns. A winner from LG.

an A+ for this jersey. Fits comfortably tight, cool. Wore it for the first time last weekend on a 4 hour ride and it dit its job perfectly!

How see through is the white once you get sweaty?

i havent noticed any difference. i wasnt looking for it but i think if it became see through i would have noticed it.

            Great fit. Great fabric

The fit of this jersey is almost identical to the factory jersey. The fabric feels a bit softer, and lighter. The downside of my jersey is the zipper. Its crap. My roomate got the same one and his is fine. Its an easy fix, I just wont unzip it completely. based on fit and feel, i would give this 5 stars. due to zipper issues im only giving it 4. My measurements are as follows 41" at nipples, 38" at navel.

I got the all white with blue trim. It looks awesome!

Anyone know if the white is see through?...

Anyone know if the white is see through? I have a couple of pair of the LG mondo bibs and the top of them are black. I didn't know if it would show through or not.

I just tried this with a black bib and yes, you do notice the bib underneath the white jersey.

Purchased the white jersey for hot summer days and was very happy with my purchase. Pro style fit i the arms (slightly longer arms and a more aero fit) with a club fit body which suited me just fine. Looks good and a bargain.

                Odd Fit

Just received my XL today, and it sure fits odd . Very tight across the biceps and roomy across the chest and belly. I'm 6'2" and 187 lbs. I'm no body builder nor do I have chicken wings for arms, I'd say I'm pretty average in the arms. As far as the body goes my chest is 42", so once again pretty average w/no belly. It just feels off with the extremely tight sleeves and loose body. For me the body is club fit with extreme race fit in the arms. For comparison I wear an XL in Castelli and it is pretty race/Italian fitting. My XL Pearl Izumi stuff is a bit bigger and more of a club fit jersey. I love the fabric, and as far as the styling goes I really like it, so that makes it even harder to decide wether I should return this or not. Maybe I simply got an XL with M sleeves sewn on by accident.

I noticed my sleeves were a bit tight too. The sleeves are similar to the new style bib shorts. no grippers, just that wide elastic band. My chest is about the same as you and I went with the large. I hate the club fit shirts. The large, fits more like a race/aero fit shirt.

                  Love it

Just got a use it on a 30 mile ride this jersey is my favorite .the sleeve fit just right they don't cut into your arm pit, nice and comfortable. plus that ginger stands out love it
