Louis Garneau Equipe Women's Jersey $84.95
Look the part.
The Louis Garneau Women's Equipe Jersey not only looks like a race jersey, but it also has the technical chops to back it up. You won't find any paisley, florals, or faux-tribal prints on this one, just clean lines and thoughtful technology.
Comprising the entirety of the Equipe jersey's construction is the venerable Airdry fabric. As you've most likely gathered from its name, this material is both light and airy. The reason behind this boils down to the fabric's inner cell structure. This appears like a perforation that just barely missed fully puncturing the material. And as a result, these 'micro pockets' effectively pull moisture away from the skin, rapidly evaporating it at the jersey's surface. Additionally, you'll find that this design, coupled with Airdry's polyester composition, is incredibly soft and forgiving on the skin. So, mile after mile, you'll be riding dry and comfortable.
In terms of fit, Garneau designed the Equipe with what Garneau calls its ProFit. So, as its name suggests, the jersey is intended for those who are spending an equal time in the drops as they are at their desk job. However, there's more to this fit than just good intentions. In fact, Garneau has cut the jersey on an anatomic curve that's specific to the woman's body in both the position and movements of cycling. Ultimately, this equates to a drastic reduction in fabric bunching and abrasion whether you're down in the drops or over the hoods.
Garneau has also included three ample rear pockets for storage of your ride essentials. And to simplify the access to them while in the saddle, Garneau has angled them down towards the hips.
The Louis Garneau Equipe Women's Jersey is available in six sizes from X-Small to XX-Large and in the colors Black/white, Candy Purple/white/black, Toucan Green/white/black, and White/ginger/black.

Not a bad jersey
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
The material is very thin - definitely can't wear a dark bra under it. I ordered a medium, normally wear a small but like the extra room.
