Riding the trails requires a helmet with a secure fit that protects from all angles of impact. The Louis Garneau Carve II's reinforced exoskeleton and highly ventilated structure make it ideal for hot summer days on the trails.

The Carve II is the latest generation of the Garneau Carve helmet. As a mountain bike helmet, it features several levels of impact protection. Its Super MSB technology is a ring-shaped protection at the base of the helmet that reinforces the perimeter for extra protection in case of impact. This style of protection was highly inspired by the Exo-Nerv technology that originated in earlier Garneau helmets. Adding to this, the U-Bar technology is a series of plastic ribs that are folded a total of six times. This acts as a complex exoskeleton upon which the helmet's structure is designed. Working in conjunction with the skeleton is the integrated strap system that works with an inner frame to evenly distribute the shock of impacts. The patented Spiderlock Pro II is a helmet stabilizing system with lightly ventilated polymer neck support. It can be easily tightened on the head using only one hand, and its inclination can be adjusted to several positions.

Because your helmet is worn daily, Garneau incorporated sealed Airdry padding. This durable padding molds to your head for comfort and is fully washable. Moisture channels placed into the helmet help to provide airflow through the helmet and wick moisture away to keep your head cool and dry. The Carve II features 29 vents to ensure that your head doesn't overheat. Finally, the visor fits into the V-Pro system, which is a receptacle molded into the helmet so that it may be put on and taken off as much as you desire without damaging the helmet.
