Description

The Stella with the smallest output, not surprisingly, has the smallest price tag. So it's super affordable and offers high quality, brilliant white LED light for minimal cash outlay. And for this year, Light and Motion has made a change to allow you to have a medium setting as well as high, low, and flash. The Stella 120N is quite small so it can be mounted easily on your handlebars or helmet. And it's lightweight as well. In keeping with the tidy, tiny, and superlight theme, the powercord is just long enough to allow you to mount your battery pack on the back of your helmet should you want a head mounted light, or the battery can be mounted on the stem if you prefer the light on your handlebars.

Light and Motion shapes the reflector behind the super efficient LED to give you a bright, white center spot that gives you a straightforward punch of light that feathers out to a broad, even fill without strange halos to skew your vision of the path or your sense of depth. This is perhaps best thought of as a commuter light. It's plenty bright enough to see and be seen, but if we head out for off-road adventures we'll grab something with more power and greater light output. In case you get a mid-ride surprise rain shower, rest assured that the Stella lamp, cord, and battery are waterproof, so you can continue through the slop without fear of a short-circuit.

The Light and Motion Stella 120N gives you the ability to toggle through three settings -- high, low, and flash. The Stella housing has a curved base with a thick, slightly gummy rubber strap that wraps around any size or shape handlebar to make a snug, slip-free attachment. The included helmet mount velcros into place through the vents in your lid and the lamp attaches to it like it would to the bars. It's easy and tool-free. It will run for 2.5 hours on high, double that on the medium setting, and 10 hours on low. The included trickle charger will refresh the 4-cell NiMh battery pack in 10 hours.

  • High-performance LED bulb provides 120 lumens to light your way
  • Multi-sport design means the Stella 120 is meant for road and trail use, so take it on your next night ride—wherever that may be
  • 6 Different modes allow you to select your light’s brightness to maximize battery life, match output to road or trail conditions, and call attention to yourself, thus increasing overall safety
  • Cruise mode cycles through a high, medium, low, and flash sequence—race mode is similar, but skips the medium and flash modes in the sequence to conserve more battery power
  • Tool-less mount makes this light easy to install
  • Battery connections are the same across all Light & Motion lights—your battery will work with other models if you decide to diversify in the future
  • Light & Motion also makes diving lights, so it knows how to make a bike light water-tight—feel free to take your Stella 120 out in the rain, snow, and hail
