Burn the retinas out of every living creature in your path (no, not literally—hey, we’re just trying to say that this is one bright light).
Gear up for your 24-hour bike race—the Light & Motion Seca 700 Race Bike Light illuminates the hazards in your path as you speed down the trail. The Seca 700 Race features the same beam pattern and brightness as Light & Motion’s Seca 700 Ultra, but it’s sleeker and lighter for the racer. Multiple LEDs combined with a custom reflector create a long line of uniformly bright light in front of you. After your midnight lap, recharge the Seca 700 in just 2.5 hours—you might need more caffeine come your wee-hours-of-the-morning lap, but your bike light will be raring to go.

This is a great light. I ran it on low and medium for much of the time and still bright enough to light the trail. Turn it to high beam and it turns the night to day. It was easy to mount on my helmet or handle bars. The battery life was good and the whole system was lighter than I expected. It is a great light and I would recommend it for anyone looking for a bike light for night riding.
I use the Seca 700 on a long commute through busy streets and backcountry roads. It performs well in all light conditions from dawn to daylight to night. The nighttime illumination is great, but you expect that from a premium headlight, where it surprised me was in the daylight. In flash mode, it gets attention at intersections and you can see drivers react to you sooner. From a performance standpoint it's worth every penny. I'll need more miles to see how it performs in winter and over time.
The Light and Motion Seca 700 illuminates the trail like no other. I just used this for the first time and was blow away at how bright it is and how much visibility it gives. The three main spot headlights broadcast a beam well out ahead of you while the three lower lights allow your peripheral vision to do what it does best. This light is great!
Best light i have ever tried the battery last a long long time im on my 4th night ride and i havent seen it dim at all i ride a 9 to 10 mile commute from work and it takes about 28 to 35 min and im definitely being seen with this light its got four functons it has bright med low and flash. The flash is on high and its VERY bright i see people all the time putting the hands up to block the light, as far as the price you get what you pay for. hit me up if you have any more questions that i didnt cover. Thanks josh
Well... for 500+ bucks it better be... but what can I say. Super clean light, and the cast of the light could be described as amazing. It's like having little people on your head holding 2 of those 2 million candlepower boat lights. I use this for night photography (painting) as well as night hiking. Pretty much the best out there. If you need it, there is no substitute.
IF you want the best get this light. I was told you can never have to much light at night so I went for a high output light . And this served my desires in every way. I am sure MTBR.com will have this light on their website for the light shoot out i would be very shocked if it dose not rate one of the highest lights out there. Spend the money you will not be sorry
Just got the Seca 700 race light. Have used it 4 times, 2 x on singletrack, 2x on paved trails at night. This is an awesome light and is good on the pavement up to 25 mph and mouted on the helmet it is great in the woods. I can ride even new trails with the vision and confidence almost as if it is daylight. It is a bit pricey, but to save life and limb it is well worth the investment to ride safely at night. Quick charge time and long run time. No tools needed to mount....quick and easy. I put battery in my camel back and mount light to helmet and go. Highly recommended!
