Seca 1700 Light - Head Only

If you hammered your Seca 1700 Light, but still have your battery pack, get yourself a new Seca 1700 Head. Instead of accumulating clutter, simply replace what's broken and keep your setup streamlined. It's half the price of the light/battery combo, and will help free up budget space for other shiny bits.

Designed for night trail rides and racing, the Seca is Light & Motion's brightest offering. Light & Motion didn't simply add lumens to the Seca at the expense of weight and bulk, it redesigned the light to use the power output more efficiently, effectively increasing output and burn times. Due to the Seca's bi-conic reflector, its six LED bulbs cast an intense light in a wide beam that makes you forget that it's nighttime.

Four settings on the Seca let you adjust the output in accordance to the desired application. Now, you can expect a range between 1.5 to 15 hours of light. The high setting puts out 1700 lumens, medium 850, and low and flash are both at 425 lumens. All 1700 lumens come in handy on techy descents, but long slogs up fire roads don't require the same detail. In L&M's race mode setting, you can use less light while climbing by skipping the medium and flash mode -- this leaves you with the high and low settings only. And when you're ready to head back down, a push of the power button has you back at full power.

For convenience, the light mounts on either your helmet or handlebars.
