Description

Bike shop that fits in your pocket.

It can be tough to find a happy medium between carrying everything you need and keeping weight and bulk to a minimum. A lot of hydration packs have only the minimum storage space for your spare tube, levers, pump, chain links, a snack, and a multi-tool. Because of this, the 45-tool kitchen-sink-included multi-tool isn't always the best option. The Lezyne Stainless 12 Multi-Tool has the most commonly-used tools without filling your pack at one shot.

Without a doubt, the 5mm Allen key is the most useful tool on any bike-specific multi-tool. Here the good ol' 5mil is joined by its 2, 3, 4, 6, and 8mm buddies. The Stainless 12 is also packing a Phillips and a flathead, a chain breaker (9 or 10 speed), a T25 Torx, and a triple spoke wrench that includes Mavic MTB, 3.22, and 3.45mm wrenches.

All of this is held together with a forged aluminum frame to keep weight down. The frame is specifically designed to make it easy to use the tool with gloves on. The lightweight frame and tough stainless tools are corrosion-resistant to give you years of faithful service.

The Lezyne Stainless 12 Multi-Tool is available in Silver, Blue, Gold, and Red.

Must have got one made on Friday

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I loved the styling and the way the bits weren't wrapped around the shaft. Unfortunately the Phillips bit broke on me only a few weeks after purchasing, while i was tightening a lose reflector on my sons bike. Return was simple and painless, exchanged for a different lezyne multi tool. Could have been five stars if I hadn't got a lemon, oh well.

I received one of these as a gift, and even though I already have a Crank Brothers multitool, I kept this one around as a backup.

The wrenches all works well, whole thing seems to be very well constructed. Chain tool is actually better then the crank brothers one in my opinion. doesn't have quite as many wrench sizes though, so it's still relegated to backup use.
